The Glen of Immal Terrier from Dudleston Heath
Handled by dog trainer from Llangollen Beastly Thoughts Professional Dog Services wins 1st place
at Crufts (the world’s biggest dog show) and then goes on to take Best Bitch award by Karen Boyce.
Hi, my name’s Karen Boyce and I
live in Froncysyllte, Llangollen and
run Beastly Thoughts Professional
Dog Services. Back in March, I was
at Crufts showing Poppy, a friend’s
Glen of Immal Terrier in the breed
rings and we came first in the Open
Bitch class and then went on to win
Best Bitch.
The Glen of Immal Terrier is an Irish
breed originally bred for otter and
badger hunting whose history goes
as far back as Elizabeth the First.
Poppy (or posh Kennel Club name
CH SIGRID HELGA AT PANTCOTTAGE)
is a three-year-old bitch and belongs
to Dr Jane Alstead from Dudleston
Heath, Ellesmere.
She is already classed as a
champion as she has won
numerous awards in a very short
time, but at Crufts it was brilliant
to have her win more.
Poppy at “Crufts Dog Show” showing she has what it takes.
