rustee’s <strong>Report</strong> Back<br />

Once again we sit down to reflect on the past year’s achievements and<br />

challenges.<br />

The Timbavati Foundation has continued to assist the local communities as part<br />

of our commitment to improving the lives of those most in need. To this end we<br />

have built toilet blocks, refurbished a number of others and in the process,<br />

restored dignity to our fellow citizens. Apart from these worthwhile activities,<br />

the Foundation provided netted vegetable gardens and access to underground<br />

water sources where the greatest needs were identified. We intend to continue<br />

with these type of projects for the coming financial year.<br />

Together we can achieve so much more and with the continued financial support<br />

and encouragement from our donors, land owners and friends, we press forward<br />

in this noble cause.<br />

The present trustees have also identified the need for succession planning and<br />

we have therefore decided to elect three young trustees to assist and support<br />

us. We are more than confident that the Timbavati Foundation will continue<br />

from strength to strength with these enthusiastic and committed individuals at<br />

the helm, in the years ahead.<br />

We welcome them and thank them for so graciously accepting our invitation.<br />
