2019 Mid-Year Report

I get to learn with an amazing group of Club
staff who are all very inviting and want to
hear things that are happening in my life.
From my experiences as a younger member,
I know that being inviting as a staff can be
the greatest encouragement to youth who are
afraid of not being accepted.
As a staff, the kids look up to me and I have inspired
many of them to work hard to succeed. They have
seen me approach Youth of the Year as something
that is really enjoyable with great experiences, and
they want to be like me in the sense that they want
to do Youth of the Year. I show kids that even though
I have a disability that I am going out into my community
and doing things that people would think
I would not be able to do. In addition to inspiring
youth, I get to learn with an amazing group of Club

My vision for the Clubs is that they will embrace
the highest standards of accessibility. Youth with
disabilities can be empowered through facilities
and programs. In my dream Club, the Club exceeds
the standards in the Americans with Disabilities Act
and is designed to meet any conceivable mobility
