We launched our first luxury expedition cruise to Antarctica in 1991,
determined to deliver the highest level of service possible on a cuttingedge
vessel, and inviting only the top experts to join our expedition team.
More than 300 voyages later, A&K continues to pioneer a rare breed of
exclusively chartered voyages, all of which are unrivalled in their delivery
of incredible expertise, true exploration, and all-inclusive luxury.
The difference an exclusively chartered voyage makes
Every Luxury Expedition Cruise we lead is exclusively chartered by
design, allowing our experts to tailor-make the ultimate voyage. We
choose the most luxurious and innovative mega-yachts, and then limit
the number of guests to approximately 80 per cent of the ship’s full
capacity. Depending on the vessel, this means that you’ll either be one
of 148 or 199 guests. This allows us to deliver an authentic small-ship
cruising experience, optimised to offer comfortable, uncrowded access
to beautiful public spaces. Every stateroom and suite has its own private
balcony and all cruises boast an impressively intimate staff-to-guest
ratio, at a maximum of one staff member to every 1.3 guests.

means we take care of everything so that you can savour every breathtaking
moment of your voyage. Look forward to an engaging programme
of expert lectures, special events, and curated shore excursions organised
by our award-winning expedition team. Enjoy an elegant culinary
programme and open bar, complimentary wifi, with tips, transfers,
and port charges included. Depending on your cruise, you may also
experience cities such as Kyoto and Florence with signature A&K guided
tours and luxury stays in the region’s most remarkable hotels.
