to many of the world’s wonders, and will never stop surprising
you with breathtaking experiences both above and below
the ocean’s surface. The Philippines is known for its diverse
culture, which is proudly presented through their food traditions,
welcoming people and rich history. This unique diversity
gets celebrated during yearly festivals in every province of
the country. Saints and legends are celebrated, as well as the
unique history of the different provinces. This difference in
history has led to a wide range of traditions in textile, food,
arts and crafts. The Filipino people are proud to display their
traditions to any guest open for new experiences. Welcome
to the most diverse archipelago in the world!

The Bohol island holds adventures that will
take your breath away! Jump into the water
and watch wild fish and animals living side by
side in harmony under water. You are most
likely to spot wild dolphins and turtles, so why
not bring an underwater camera to make sure
the memories don´t fade away?

South-east of Bohol offers you the opportunity
to paddle down the river, while enjoying
stunning nature. We have made sure you get
to stop on the way, both to take photos and to
join in on making a local lunch with the rest of
the group.
Disconnect And Recharge!
SUP, or stand up paddle, is a well-known
activity in the Sugba lagoon. The area covers
over 4000 hectares, so you have plenty of
space to play around and test your skills. If
you feel extra adventurous, you can even rent
a kayak or a bamboo raft! The options are
endless – this is truly an ocean lover´s
paradise.
Chocolate Mountains
The most famous wave in Siargo is Cloud 9 –
one of many famous waves in the area. You
will find the wave at General Luna, or GL as the
locals call the place. The best season for
surfing here is in the period from September
to November. It is also during these times that
the yearly surfing competition is held – are
you brave enough?
On a hidden island, in the outskirts of the city
Coron, you will find Coron Underwater Garden
resort. After riding a boat for 15 minutes, what
you will find is a gorgeous, local and family
owned accommodation with heart warming
staff, solar energy and astonishing surroundings.
Kayak rental, infinity pool, a salt- and a
fresh water pool, karaoke nights, good food, a
bar and conversation starting people are key
words for the perfect, relaxing weekend
getaway.
One of the most pleasant sights in Bohol are the
Choco hills. These hills have a chocolate-looking
color which gave them their name. On your way
to the mountain you will discover winding roads
and beautiful nature. Join in on a hike in unique
surroundings – just don´t forget your water
bottle and camera!

Island Hopping
If you like mountain hikes, this is the perfect
adventure for you! Mount Pulag is the tallest
mountain in Luzon, second tallest in all of the
Philippines. The mountain is known for great
views and beautiful sunrises. The most
spectacular view must be when you get all
the way to the top, and can wander amongst
the clouds. An experience of a lifetime!
A lagoon full of jelly fish, cliffs breaking the
surface and secret caves hiding in the dark. This
is some of the treasures you will find at the island
Bucas Grande, in Sohoton Cove national park.
The jellies are harmless, and it is completely safe
to swim amongst them before jumping from
cliffs and exploring new caves. This experience
is so unique that you have to see it with your own
eyes to understand how special it is!
Island hopping in the Philippines is a must. The
country has over 7000 islands to choose from,
many of them yet to be explored. Sand, palms,
crystal clear water, wild animals and colorful
fish. You can swim in hot lagoons, snorkel above
coral reefs, free dive down to skeleton
shipwrecks and end the day with a delicious
coconut in the shadow of a palm, watching the
sun set the sky on fire every night.

Meg lives in Calumpit, Bulacan and is an expert in
local experiences across the Philippines. She is
versatile and lively, and when she is not creating
once-in-a- lifetime trips for her guests she is working
as a professional makeup artist and fashion stylist.
Meg does yoga and surfing, loves lazy days at the
beach and is not afraid to try out new, local and
exotic dishes wherever she travels.
I remember my first trip to Siargo, when I got to swim with jelly fish in a
crystal clear, sparkling green lagoon. On my way I met a very famous
travel vlogger, and I got to take a photo with him! That was an absolute
fan girl moment for me, haha! Travelling gives you all these memories,
and that is exactly why I love working as a travel planner. To costume-make

journey through our 12 destinations across Asia and Africa. Now it is
time for YOU to travel like our globetrotters and experience the exact
same adventures! The Globetrotter adventure in the Philippines is
packed with fun adventures; perfect for the ocean lover or adrenaline
junkie! The only thing you need to do, is to send us a message and
pack a bottle of sunscreen and swimwear, and then you are ready to
experience the Philippines in real Kiwano style! Please note that if you
want to change the journey, and costume it to your needs, just let us
know and we will fix it for you!
Highlights
The magical Black Sand Island: You get to enjoy a whole day on this
island inhabited by natives. This is a place for you to swim, snorkel, sun
bathe and explore hidden caves inside the mountain walls. Bring a
camera, because this is the perfect spot for magical, insta-friendly photos!
Sleep far away from civilization: In Coron city you will be met by a boat driving
you 20 minutes away from civilization to find the perfect accommodation. Only a
boat will be able to get you here, which makes the place quite unique! You can
rent a kayak, swim in an infinity pool, sing karaoke (or not) with the locals and relax
completely. A cleanse for body and soul!
Challenge yourself by jumping off cliffs: You will visit a waterfall where you
really get to challenge both your phobia for heights and water. Water slides,
slings, cliffs and rivers in an amazing, nature created water park! The feeling when
you finally dare to jump is unexplainable and really a memory for life!
Island jumping from dusk till dawn: You get one whole day to experience as many of the 7000 islands in the
Philippines as possible! The globetrotters managed to do five, will you be able to do more?
Local food experiences: Something you might not know, is that the Philippines has a unique, creative and
diverse food culture you have never seen before. Balut, adobo and chicken feet are some of the delicacies you
will get to taste (Pst! If you are vegan, or vegetarian, we will of course customize this for you).
Swim in huge lagoons and hidden brackish waters: Brackish water is water that is both fresh and salty at the
same time. Does it sound strange? In the Philippines you will get to experience this at multiple occasions. It is
fun to lay in the water and feel how both the fresh – and salt water affects you at the same time. Do you think it
makes it easier or more difficult to float? Some of the lagoons are difficult to find, and you will have to float on
your back while being dragged under a low tunnel made out of rocks and mountains to get there. Cool, don´t
you think?
Unforgettable sunsets: The Philippines probably has some of the most beautiful sunsets on earth. You can
try to catch the colors on camera, but nothing is as magical as when you are sitting still on the boat on your
way home from an exciting day, with the wind in your hair, feet resting in the water and a sky full of colors.

We are in the Philippines! The first thing we talked about when entering the country,
was that anywhere you turn – it looks like you are looking at a post card. It is so
incredibly beautiful here that we don´t know how to express it. Not only the nature
(which is gorgeous), but also the food, the people - everything! We haven´t met a
single negative person here, and their happiness spreads over at us in an instant.
The whole Filipino vibe is so good, we jump in the water early morning and enjoy the
fun and nature all day until the sun sets. In the evening the vibe gets even better, if
possible, when we go out to eat with Meg and her friends. Our week in the Philippines
has felt like a detox for body and soul – do you have any idea how good of a
workout it is to swim all day?
