FOR THE ELDERLY” 

In a community of Pococí, Limón 

we prepare a group of families 

that participate in the 

Discipleship Program, to visit 

house by house, to the elderly of 

the community. 

Experience with great teaching, 

joy and human warmth!

Children enjoyed the company of the 

elderly.

KOREAN MISSIONARIES 

At the request of Pastor Koo of the Korean Mission in Costa Rica and the Fraternity of Pastors of Coronado, ASCRIGERE - LOVE IN THE 

STREETS MINISTRIES organized children’s camps in three communities: 

• Coronado 

• La Isla de Moravia 

• Sagrada Familia 

Thank God it was a resounding success the participation of children and the contribution of missionaries. 

Parents were also blessed with educational talks to reinforce their parental role. 



CHILDREN’S MINISTRY NETWORK 

For many years, the LOVE IN THE STREETS MINISTRIES have led a Network of 

Ministries and Churches that work for children and adolescents. 

Training, leadership advice, material assistance for children and the opportunity to 

participate in children’s events and activities are part of the concrete benefits of 

those participating in the Network.

The coverage of children and adolescents at the 

national level of the Network is significant, not only 

quantitatively but also geographically. 



FATHER’S DAY, DISCIPLESHIP AT POCOCI

DANCE 

Dance 

is an expression that allows children and teenagers to 

grow and, at the same time, communicate a message. 

LOVE IN THE STREETS MINISTRIES appreciate that 

they have this experience, which they greatly enjoy. 



FOOD SECURITY AREA 

We need egg and chicken to 

feed children and adolescents; 

as well as for the destitute 

population we serve. 

Thank God for the donors who 

have supported us. This is a 

challenge for our Ministry.

INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS 

By the mercy of God this year some ceilings could be painted in the Girls’ Home, 

make the second section of the wall, expand the furniture in the Vocational 

Workshop and repair the bathrooms giving it more lighting. 

With the support of more donors we 

can continue to maintain the two homes 

for teenagers we have; thus, maintain a 

decent quality of life for them.

CAMPS

In July 2018 the children enjoyed a beautiful camp in Esparza, Puntarenas. 

And the teenagers also had in Pococí, Limón a super dynamic and challenging 

camp for life. Teenagers from different parts of the country participated in this 

camp. 



CHILD’S DAY AND WALK TO THE 

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM 

The Walk to the Children’s Museum represented 

an unforgettable day for almost 500 boys and girls 

from all over the country who had never visited 

this beautiful place full of emotions and learning 

for them. 

Children’s Day Party at the 

Monsignor Sanabria Vocational 

College conducted by teachers and 

students. There was a lot of love, 

fine attention and, excellence.

each week to get ready and go to

MILK DONATION 

The joy of children and older adults receiving the donation of milk was 

shocking. 

Thank God for allowing us to channel this blessing.

solidarity contribution, but also a social investment that benefits everyone.

ALABAMA MISSIONARIES 

Serving in our ministry 

May 2018 was a time of great joy for 

the missionaries who visited us to help 

us with the construction of the 2nd. 

section of the wall in the Home of the 

girls teenagers. 

They also carry out other impact activities in 

favor of children and adolescents in schools 

and juvenile jails.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES 

Thanks to the donation of school supplies packages given by many people, 

significant support could be provided to children and adolescents to continue 

their studies. 

You can donate and make a difference in the life of a boy or girl.

PROGRAM WITH PRIVATE LIBERTY 

TEENS 

The program with 

Adolescents deprived of 

Liberty had an excellent 

response from adolescents. 

Thank God, the whole year 

was present weekly with the 

accompaniment and several 

special activities were 

carried out with 

Missionaries. 

At Christmas, we were able to bless them 

with a Christmas party, to the entire 

population of the Center. 



STREET INHABITANTS PROGRAM 

The Program with street dwellers 

presents the sad reality of a 

significant increase in homeless 

people, where unfortunately many 

of them are older adults. 

LOVE ON THE STREETS 

MINISTRIES 

still present in the streets, bringing 

a word of hope to the inhabitants of 

the street, as well as assistance. 



CHRISTMAS 

2018 

Hundreds of godparents and 

godmothers made it possible to 

deliver a complete and personalized 

gift to each child 

The celebration 

of Christmas 

2018 also left a 

deep joy when 

visiting each 

place, looking at 

the children with 

their expressions 

of joy, and 

sharing with 

them the closing 

of a year 

overcoming 

difficulties, 

overcoming as 

brave fronts to 

the limitations, 

the problems and 

tests; and 

celebrating the 

victories 

achieved during 

the year.
