Sports Team Celebration Party (25 May 2019) The PTA was delighted to support the party to celebrate a year of hard work from our enthusiastic sportsman. an astonishing result they have achieved in the year 2018-19! Well done! What PTA Fun Sports Day (16 June 2019) This is our end of year sports event. For the first time ever, we offered water gun games, plus traditional Chinese activities such as: Chinese billiards and foot shuttlecock games. The kids should have a wonderful day enjoying different kinds of sport activities together. 28 DBSPTA-PD 9/2019
Community Service Knitting Event (Nov 2018) The meaningful event was launched for two consecutive years. We encouraged parents and teachers to participate and complete the knitted scarfs at home. We aimed to deliver these handmade items to the elderlies during winter season. With a very strong collaboration with teachers and parents, together we produced over 120 knitted scarfs in 2 months’ time! Participation in Box of Hope activity (17 November 2018) Community Service Sub-committee greatly supports School to encourage students to donate stationery items, books, small toys and/or hygiene items and put into shoe boxes and donate to the organization “Box of Hope”. We received over 400 nicely decorated boxes and parent helpers helped to conduct quality check and re-packing before we sent the boxes to children in need before Christmas. Poor and Rich Meals 貧富一餐 (28 Nov 2018) This event is organized by 基督教勵行會 and school/ G6 parents of PTA’s Community Service Subcommittee participated in this event to help. Some G6 boys had experienced taking the poor meal - plain bread. Others tried the rich meals. All boys visited the subdivided flat made by G6 parents. DBSPTA-PD 9/2019 29
