Fifteen years ago, we produced our first Readers’ Choice Awards issue, which was the community’s opportunity to vote on who they believe is the best. It is the single most read and referenced issue we produce each year and we owe a very special group of people special thanks for making this issue happen–you, our readers! Thousands of readers cast more than 120,000 votes for local businesses and organizations this year. It’s hard to believe how much this contest has grown and how much it means to the winners and to the readers who source this issue (both in print and online) when making all types of buying decisions every day. We are proud to say that our Readers’ Choice Awards is the largest awards contest of its type in the Sacramento region. What’s most important to our readers is knowing their votes count, we don’t choose winners because they are advertisers. We don’t choose the winners at all. This is truly a contest voted on by the readers alone. We want to take this opportunity to let you know how much we appreciate your readership and support of STYLE. I want to thank my patients and the readers of <strong>Style</strong> magazine for<br />
voting me one of the BEST Oral Surgeons.<br />
Golden Foothills Oral & Facial Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art<br />
facility providing dental implants and oral surgery in <strong>El</strong> <strong>Dorado</strong><br />
<strong>Hills</strong> and Auburn. Other services include wisdom teeth and<br />
teeth extraction, pathology, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, facial<br />
trauma surgery, TMJ surgery, obstructive sleep apnea surgery,<br />
and more. Additionally, they provide sedation services such as<br />
nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV conscious and general sedation,<br />
and hospital services to fit patients’ needs and concerns. All<br />
of their services reflect a patient-first philosophy to provide a<br />
comfortable and personalized experience.<br />
The founder, Donald Liberty, D.D.S, is a board certified oral and<br />
maxillofacial surgeon through the American Board of Oral and<br />
Maxillofacial Surgeons, a fellow of the American Association<br />
of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of<br />
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the International College<br />
of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the<br />
American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American<br />
Dental Association.<br />
He received a B.B.A in economics and finance from the University<br />
of Guam before attending dental school at Indiana University<br />
where he graduated in the top of his class. Dr. Liberty completed<br />
his four-year surgical residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery<br />
at Indiana University Medical Center. What’s more, he’s a<br />
lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he served in<br />
deployments and humanitarian missions in Kuwait, <strong>El</strong> Salvador,<br />
and Panama. However, Dr. Liberty engages in community services<br />
outside of his military duty, such as participation in free clinics<br />
throughout the state and international mission trips with dental<br />
volunteer groups to Mexico, Colombia, and Haiti.<br />
Dr. Liberty’s office is technological advance oral surgery and<br />
dental implant office. Utilizing Claronav Navident dynamic<br />
navigation system for placement of implants and surgery.<br />
