2019 Young Agents' Conference
We are still dreaming about the views at The Tides Inn in
Irvington, VA. What a beautiful setting to learn, connect,
become better leaders of the insurance industry.
Young agents started the conference off with a photo
scavenger hunt of The Tides Inn and the town of Irvington. We
ended the night at The Office for another out-of-the-park
Welcome Dinner.
Kalon Blanchard took us on a journey to better understanding
leadership and inspired us to make changes in our daily
routines. David Siekman broke down agency success by diving
into the top 10 objectives of successful agencies. Attendees
took home tactics they could put to use right away.
Mark Horton of Towne Insurance was named the 2019 Young
Agent of the Year. He is described as a great steward of his
agency, of the insurance profession, and as a great role model
for younger agents who want to see what it takes to be
successful. We couldn’t agree more.
Thursday night was wrapped up with a bonfire on the beach
complete with s'mores. (And maybe a karaoke song or two...)
Friday morning Dave Dillon spoke to us on how to see big
results with mindset. This fantastic couple of days was
wrapped up by a boatride on the Rappahanock compliments
of the Hancocks of Ford & Thomas Agency.
