There have been speculations over the position of Chief of Staff as many chieftains of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and aides of the governor, were said to be lobbying for the position. Until the appointment, Agbazuere was the General Manager of Abia State Passenger Insurance Manifest and Safety Scheme, ASPIMS. He has also served as chairman of Abia State CENTRE for Happy Elderly People, CHEP, celebrated the 2019 International Day of Older People, with a call to the young to live healthy, as old age is expensive. Eze Chikamnayo is a former Commissioner for Information in the state. In a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Onyebuchi Ememanka, the appointments take immediate effect. Don’t return for your mother’s burial, cleric warns Nnamdi Kanu By Nwabueze Okonkwo & Chimaobi Nwaiwu ONITSHA—ONE of Igbo clerics, who claimed to be fighting spiritually for the restoration of sovereign State of Biafra, Bishop Abraham Udeh, has advised the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, not to return home for the burial of his mother or else he would be rearrested and hounded into prison without fair trial. He said he saw in the spiritual realm where Kanu returned and was rearrested, warning that it would amount to a grievous mistake and a suicide mission for Kanu to come home in the name of his mother’s burial, after narrowly escaping barely a year ago.
