Conduril - Engenharia, S.A. was incorporated in 1959 as a limited company,<br />

purchased in 1970 by the current shareholders, and transformed into an<br />

anonymous society in 1976. It is a publicly traded organization, with social capital<br />

of 10 million Euros, represented by shares on the Portuguese Securities Market<br />

Comission and listed on the second Euronext Market (Portugal).<br />

The Board of Directors is headed by the Chairman and includes seven other<br />

members, all with professional careers developed within the company, who<br />

constitute the Executive Committee. The company is based in Ermesinde - Portugal<br />

and has expanded its activities with branches in Angola, Mozambique, Morocco,<br />

Botswana, Cape Verde, Spain, Malawi, Senegal, Zambia, Gabon and South Africa.<br />

The persons in charge in each of these countries are members of the Board of<br />

Directors.

In the countries where it currently operates,<br />

CONDURIL, S.A. has at its disposal a<br />

workforce of 2,786 employees. From those,<br />

90% are sourced from the local populations<br />

and the remaining 10% are expatriate<br />

workers, being specialized workers and<br />

supervision.<br />

The improvement of technical skills within<br />

the company and the social responsibilities<br />

carried out by CONDURIL reflect the<br />

company's recognition of the value of its<br />

human capital. As a demonstration of the<br />

company's commitment to continuous<br />

training, thousands of workers have already<br />

been given extensive training, having even<br />

been created the CONDURIL ACADEMY<br />

project, both in Angola and Mozambique.<br />

This professional development by CONDURIL<br />

represents an investment of more than six<br />

hundred thousand Euros per year.<br />

The constitution of the Pension Fund<br />

Conduril, in December 1989, is a further<br />

reflection the social and human side of the<br />

company, an indelible part of the CONDURIL<br />

policy. This fund is fully supported and<br />

financed by the Company, and reflected in<br />

2016 a value of 8.2 million Euros.


CONDURIL ACADEMY<br />

Established in 2009, Conduril Academy - Center<br />

for Vocational Training in Civil Construction and<br />

Public Works - is today recognized as a center of<br />

excellence in Angola and in Mozambique.<br />

WITH HEADQUARTERS IN ANGOLA,<br />

WHICH PROVIDES ADDED VALUE TO THE<br />

HUMAN RESOURCES OF THE CONDURIL<br />

GROUP IN ANGOLA AND MOZAMBIQUE<br />

recognized by the bodies responsible for<br />

vocational training in these two countries and<br />

financed entirely by Conduril Engenharia S.A.<br />

Despite not receiving any governmental subsidy<br />

or financial support, the Conduril Academy, in<br />

close and permanent collaboration with<br />

Angola's Ministry of Education and Mozambique,<br />

continues to serve as a provider of the process<br />

of literacy and school acceleration of its<br />

employees.<br />

The mission of the Conduril Academy is to<br />

provide vocational training for all employees of<br />

the Conduril Group in Angola and Mozambique,<br />

and simultaneously collaborate in the<br />

improvement of literacy of its employees, thus<br />

contributing to improve the quality of life at<br />

both local and national level.<br />

Because we believe that education is the<br />

fundamental element for economic<br />

development and social improvement, the<br />

Conduril Academy plays a defining role in<br />

furthering both the policies of CONDURIL and its<br />

contribution to the society to which it belongs.<br />

Since 2011, we highlight the positive development of literacy in the world of<br />

CONDURIL workers in Angola. There was a reduction from 24% in 2011 to 1% in<br />

Customs, art, and especially the<br />

mode of thinking and acting, are<br />

should be preserved so that one<br />

never loses the uniqueness of the<br />

Illiteracy rate in Conduril Angola falls 23 percentage points in 8 years. Currently, the illiteracy rate is<br />

estimated at 1% (7 people). In 2011, this indicator had been of 24%, equivalent to 314 illiterate<br />

3rd Prize of the National Literacy Prize 2013, awarded by the Eduardo dos Santos<br />

Foundation, Ministry of Education, and the National Commission of UNESCO.<br />

Conduril Academy was selected to represent Angola in the International Literacy<br />

Prize of UNESCO in both 2013 and 2015.<br />
