2019 Annual Impact Report

After spending months unpacking and
uncovering our gifts, we were all challenged
to unleash those gifts to bless others and
bring glory to God. Some found new energy for
ministries they were already connected with. Some
commitments offer annual serving opportunities
like our Rites of Passage mentoring programs.
And several events served as “first-serve”
opportunities for new volunteers.
One great example is during the Samaritan’s
Feet event in January. Gifts of compassion
and evangelism were perfect for those
volunteers who took time to encourage
children with the hope of Christ while washing
their feet and fitting them for free shoes.
The smiles and thank
you’s I get when I use
my gift of helps to
serve bring me joy.
Serving alongside my
fellow greeters brings
us closer together as
well. I know I’ve found
my fit by making others
feel welcome at Saint
Mark.
