The educational programming of the Tendaji
CDC continues to flourish. The Program
IMPACT afterschool program continues to
have strong enrollment with 185 students
from area elementary and middle schools.
Some children who have been with the
program since day 1 have shown tremendous
growth academically and socially through
the support of the staff and volunteers of
the program. The program received exciting
news through a new partnership with Jazz
at Lincoln Center. Students from Tendaji will
be traveling to Orlando, Florida, to present
to a crowd of more than 5,000 attendees at
the Beyond School Hours National Education
Conference, a national afterschool program.

Members from Saint Mark partnered with
Tendaji CDC for the third year to provide
holiday wish list clothes and toys for Gifta-Child
at their annual holiday party.
