PUBLIC AUCTION OF SURPLUS SUPPLY

KOHLER POWER SYSTEMS GENERATOR

ROWLEY BOARD OF SELECTMEN

The Rowley Board of Selectmen is auctioning the following surplus

supply: Kohler Power Systems generator (Model: 80REOZJD). The

80kw diesel standby generator, installed in 2008 to service the Rowley

Police Station, was replaced in January 2019 as part of a recent renovation

project. The generator has been deemed surplus property and is

being publicly auctioned on www.municibid.com.

The auction listing can be found by searching “Kohler Power Systems

Generator” or Listing #26388831 on www.municibid.com. The auction

will begin on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. and end on

December 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The generator is available for inspection

at the Town Hall Annex, 39 Central Street, Rowley, MA during

the following hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am-4:00pm, and Friday 8:00am-

12:00pm.

The generator will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the

highest price. The starting bid price is set at $6,500. Upon winning the

auction, the winning bidder must submit a signed non-collusion form

to the jurisdiction prior to the receipt of the supply. The winning bidder

must also forward a certified check made payable to the Town of Rowley

within five business days to the Office of the Board of Selectmen. The

generator was in operating condition when it was removed from service.

It is being sold “as is” without express warranties and with no implied

warranties of condition. Removal of the generator by the successful bidder

to be scheduled with the Town, but not to exceed 5 business days

after receipt of payment. The awarding authority reserves the right to

reject any and all bids if found to be in the best interest of the Town.
