ABOUT <strong>AD</strong><br />
Associative Design (<strong>AD</strong>) is a project by the Portuguese<br />
Association of Wood and Furniture Industries (AIMMP) that<br />
aims to develop and promote the production of products for<br />
the home sector as well as launch challenges that will contribute<br />
to innovation in the use of both technology and design. <strong>AD</strong> will<br />
support and push companies that share this vision and take their<br />
products further into exciting new markets.<br />
<strong>AD</strong> is a brand of excellence that represents and promotes Portuguese products<br />
on the most important, demanding and acclaimed venues on the international<br />
landscape. This collective effort is sustained by quality, innovation and design and<br />
aspires to answer the growing global market demands.<br />
The <strong>AD</strong> brand relaunch aims to continue to the project started in 2009 while being<br />
more ambitious on its execution and goals. While expecting to produce a real<br />
increase on the volume of sales <strong>AD</strong> is also determined to become a success case<br />
study alongside the companies and products involved.<br />

ABOUT AIMMP<br />
AIMMP’S mission is to represent, promote and protect the interests of Portuguese<br />
companies from the five sectorial divisions that make up the wood and furniture<br />
sector: cutting,felling, sawing and wood packing; panels and panelled wood,<br />
carpentry and alike; furniture and alike; export, import and distribution of wood and<br />
derivatives. These industries export ¤2.5 billions per year.<br />
