PAUL JAMES
PLYMOUTH RAIDERS COACH
Good evening and Happy New Year to one
and all.
I hope that you had a great festive period
and are now looking forward to the
excitement of what the new year will bring.
Today we welcome the B. Braun Sheffield
Sharks to the Pavilions for this BBL Trophy
first round match up. The Sharks are
coached by Atiba Lyons and have
consistently been one of the top teams
in the league for many years.
The Sharks are known to be a competitive
and consistent team and have been there
or thereabouts in all competitions over the
years. They have had a solid start to the
regular season and will be looking to
advance in the Trophy competition today.
This should have the makings of a very
exciting and competitive game and yet
another where the coaching staff will
challenge the team to be better than we
were the last game and finish the job……
I extend a warm welcome to B. Braun
Sheffield Sharks coaching staff, players
and supporters for this BBL Trophy match.
Enjoy the game and make lots of noise.
GO Raiders!!!
PAUL JAMES
COACH
This season they have kept a good core of
the team from last season so are sure to be a
solid unit once again. They have returned
players in Mike Tuck, Rob Marsden, and
McKnight and have added former Sharks
player Nick Lewis who is having a real positive
impact this time around.
