Welcome to our <strong>January</strong> <strong>2020</strong> Issue<br />
Happy New Year to all our readers.<br />
Calling all business owners, with a new year on the horizon we are looking at our<br />
magazine and its viability in the modern digital world. Having seen two local publications<br />
cease producing hard copy due to lack of support during the past year we are considering<br />
our future. We run and have always run this as a as a community facility for local<br />
businesses to showcase themselves. However due to a change in personal circumstances<br />
we cannot continue making a loss month after month. We have taken the sad decision to<br />
put the prices up slightly to try and cover the cost of printing.<br />
We continue to be the only printed hand delivered publication across <strong>Gillingham</strong> &<br />
<strong>Shaftesbury</strong> but in order for this to remain the case we need to know how you want us to<br />
advertise you. We therefore need to address your requirements to avoid being forced<br />
into becoming just another online medium.<br />
Spare a thought for Ward Goodman (pg 19) and Money Management Matters (pg 4<br />
below) who have been busy over the Christmas festivities working on business accounts<br />
and personal tax returns. With the deadline at the end of <strong>January</strong> please contact them<br />
early if you need help.<br />
