Outlook for 2019
1. Membership Goal for 2019
The Membership and Public Relations Committee plans
to reach a membership base of 455.
2. TICA Membership Quarterly Luncheon
Tentative Schedule:
• 19 March 2019
• May 2019
• August 2019
• November 2019 (Networking Dinner)
3. TICA Networking Dinner
In addition to the TICA Membership Quarterly Luncheons,
the committee also has plans to organise a networking cocktail
function or a dinner for members. On top of being an
ideal opportunity to meet likeminded individuals, the event
will feature inspiring keynote speakers who will discuss how
to achieve a good work–life balance. The tentative schedule
is set for November 2019.
4. New Member Orientation
The committee expects to continue hosting the new member
orientation that precedes the TICA Membership
Quarterly Luncheons, where and when possible, in order
to optimise the new members’ welcome into the TICA
family. Also where possible, the committee will introduce
new members at the luncheon and possibly offer them the
opportunity to briefly introduce their company to existing
members.
5. TICA E-Newsletter
In 2019, the committee will continue with TICA MICE
Update which will circulate on a bi-monthly basis according
to the following schedule:
6. TICA Fortnightly E-Newsletter:
‘TICA MICE News Captures’
The committee will continue issuing the fortnightly
e-newsletter, ‘TICA MICE News Captures.’
7. MICE Guide to Thailand 2020-2021
A new format for the MICE Guide to Thailand 2020-2021
is under consideration. Any further information will be
sent to all TICA members.
8. TICA Sports Day
The TICA Sports Day is planned for mid-year of 2019.
It will bring TICA members together for an exciting
team-building day of reforestation activities. The venue
and location for this event are yet to be announced.
