If there is any place in Liechtenstein<br />
which truly lives up to the billing<br />
"princely moments" then it is the<br />
Fürstensteig Trail. Powerful, imposing,<br />
mystical. Just a few minutes into the<br />
hike, after turning the third corner,<br />
hikers will find themselves in front<br />
of an awe-inspiring rock formation embodying<br />
the power and force of this<br />
unique landscape. Whenever I gaze up<br />
at this giant work of art shaped by<br />
wind and rain – as Liechtenstein and<br />
the Rhine Valley slowly wake in the<br />
valley far below – I am reminded how<br />
small and insignificant we are as humans<br />
compared to the might of Mother<br />
Nature. Those are moments which make<br />
me feel humble. Everything becomes<br />
easier – life’s problems appear small,<br />
giving way to a wave of euphoria. It’s<br />
hard to put into words – you have to<br />
be up there and experience it yourself<br />
to really understand. That’s what discovering<br />
the Fürstensteig Trail is all about.<br />
