When I think of "my" resort of Malbun,
then I think of great skiing for all
ages and all abilities, from beginners
to experts. I also think of children
laughing and having fun in the Malbi
Park as they take their first tentative
turns on snow, the sunny slopes
at Sareis and the powder in Täli and
Hocheck.

From romantic moonlight walks for
couples to family walks in the dazzling
sunshine, the Sassweg Trail is one of
the best ways to enjoy the winter landscape.
It starts at the Friedenskapelle
chapel in Malbun and leads through
steep snow walls, thick forests and
snow-filled hollows to Sass-Seelein and
back to the Schneeflucht ski lift.

Steg-Valüna has a lovely network of
perfectly groomed cross-country
skiing trails suitable for both the
more relaxing Classic technique and
the more dynamic Skating technique.
There is even a floodlit trail for
those keen to ski in the evening.
Tobogganing in the
snowy landscape
Tobogganing is a great sport for all
the family. Malbun has two toboggan
runs to choose from. Sücka-Steg
offers the chance to warm up with a
cheesy fondue in the Berggasthaus
Sücka before whizzing back down
into the valley, while the toboggan
run near the chapel in Malbun is
close to the cosy and welcoming
Alpenhotel Vögeli.
