The newest additions are Go Direct sensors for Blood Pressure, Weather, and a Structures & Materials Tester, along with a Go Direct Spirometer.

well as the Motion Encoder Receiver and Motion Encoder<br />

Eddy Current Brake<br />

Eddy current brakes are used as a braking system<br />

for high-speed trains and roller coasters. Recreate<br />

this unusual braking system in your classroom or<br />

laboratory by installing our Eddy Current Brake into<br />

the end cap of a plastic <strong>Vernier</strong> dynamics cart. As<br />

the cart moves over the track, the magnets in the<br />

Eddy Current Brake create an electromagnetic drag<br />

on the cart that is proportional to the cart’s speed.<br />

Bumper and Launcher Kit<br />

With the Bumper and Launcher Kit, students can use the<br />

Dynamics Cart and Track System to perform Hooke's law<br />

experiments or to study momentum and impulse.<br />
