Carl’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis.<br />
Unable to engage in the<br />
scientific inquiry of his prior<br />
physics career, Carl finds<br />
solace in his basement, dismantling<br />
discarded electronics in search of the copper inside.<br />
What begins as a curious behavior evolves into an artistic collaboration,<br />
as Susan turns Carl’s copper remnants into individually<br />
framed sculptures. Their collaboration culminates in<br />
a joyous art exhibit, creating a moment of bittersweet celebration<br />
amidst Carl’s declining state.<br />
