It tells the story of a world where minds are controlled bypersonified emotions; joy, sadness, anger, fear and disgust, and follows the emotionalrollercoaster of a young, ordinary girl called Riley, whose life in the American Midwest isturned upside down when her dad announces he has a new job in San Francisco.These emotions decipher Riley’s own emotial state, with Joy doing everything in herpositive power to make every memory a happy one. However, as nothing ever goes toplan, Sadness literally gets in the way of Joy, forcing the most significant and essentialfeelings to get lost in the depth of Riley’s mind, leaving anger, fear and disgust alone inthe forefront.Inside Out is definitely the animation to watch this year and can be ranked alongsidePixar’s most loved films such as Toy Story, FindingNemo and Monsters, Inc.By Megan Parker24
