COMMUNITY SERVICE
As a student at Old Rochester Regional, you are
encouraged to do service through the use of the
Presidential Award for Service, with all students
being encouraged to keep a log of service
performed on an annual basis. These forms
should be submitted to your Guidance
Counselor at the end of each school year to be
kept on file. By performing one hundred hours,
you will receive a Presidential Award at a
ceremony or assembly at year-end. Old
Rochester Regional will continue to encourage
and support the use of service learning in the
curriculum as a teaching methodology whereby
students learn and develop through thoughtfully
organized service experiences that are
integrated into their academic curriculum.
