ASGE CME Statement
The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
(ASGE) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide
continuing medical education for physicians.
ASGE Annual Postgraduate Course
ASGE designates the Annual Postgraduate
Course, “Best Practices and Emerging
Paradigms” for a maximum of 4.5 AMA
PRA Category 1 Credits per day for a total up to 9 AMA
PRA Category 1 Credits.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate
with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the
participant to earn up to 9 MOC points in the American
Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of
Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn
MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits
claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s
responsibility to submit participant completion information
to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
Participants for the ASGE Postgraduate Course will
receive instructions via email for claiming CME/MOC
credit using GI Leap. learn.asge.org
ASGE Scientific Sessions
ASGE designates DDW live educational sessions for
a maximum of 31.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate
with the extent of their participation in the activity.
CME credits can be claimed on the DDW mobile app or
online at www.ddw.org
ASGE Hands-On Workshops
These sessions will provide an opportunity for participants
to interact with expert faculty as they demonstrate
cutting-edge techniques. ASGE designates each Hands-
On Workshop with the following maximum AMA PRA
Category 1 Credits:

ASGE Assurance to High Level Scientific Evidence
and Adherence to Neutrality
ASGE is committed to our learners on the value it
puts into the highest level of scientific rigor, researchbased
evidence and practicality in clinical use provided
throughout each of our educational activities. Faculty
members are carefully selected for their content
expertise, teaching excellence and neutrality on the topic
being presented.
ASGE requires all content experts, committee members
and staff planners who are in a position to control any
aspect of content of an educational activity, to disclose
all relevant financial relationships with any commercial
interests. Relevant financial relationships are defined
as any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or
distributing health care goods or services consumed
by, or used on, patients. Financial relationships in
any amount occurring within the past 12 months are
peer-reviewed and resolved prior to the start of the
educational activity through the ASGE Conflict of
Interest Resolution Policy Process. All disclosures are
made available and communicated to learners prior to
the activity starting.
