From Nepali, mitho (or मठो) translates to 'delicious' or 'yummy'. Often used
in reference to food, it is a good word to learn, since you will often be asked
(repeatedly) whether or not the food you are eating is mitho.
Which, of course, it usually is.
Mitho does not only refer to food however, and that is exactly why it fits this
publication. It is a word used to describe many aspects of life: mitho kurra
(good converstaion), mitho basna (wonderful smells), mitho sapna (good
dreams). These and many more uses of this word are used in Nepali.
Mitho helps us to appreciate and savor all aspects of life from the food we
eat, conversations we have, even into our dreams.
