AMERICANS in 2013? According to American Cancer Society 176,620. (94,540 men) (82,080 women)
Cancer is the second leading cause of death for African Americans.
African Americans have the highest death rate and shortest survival rate of any other ethnic group in the
United States for most cancers.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP YOURSELF AND OTHERS?
Put a plan in place for a healthy lifestyle-talk with your Doctor, schedule mammograms, colorectal
screenings, Pap tests, HPV Vaccinations or PSA (prostate specific antigen) tests for men.
