“Addiction is a chronic illness,

not a character defect. Many think

they are somehow at fault, or

mentally weak, or morally flawed.

They are none of those things.”

Stabilization Program

Here’s what

Stepping Stone

recovery looks like.

Welcome.

You’ve come to the right place.

Stepping Stone Center for Recovery offers

a Stabilization Program and a Relapse Recovery

Program. Both are residential programs,

with stays averaging around two weeks.

At Stepping Stone, you will be treated with

compassion and respect, and your stay is voluntary.

You’ll be under the supervision of on-site medical

doctors (M.D.s) and Master’s-level therapists

who together have decades of experience

in addiction treatment.

Our goal: To help you end your substance

abuse and get back to your life stronger than

ever. We will equip you with smart coping skills

and a personalized aftercare plan to help you

stay healthy, productive, and focused on your

recovery for the long term.

If you need help now, we’re here. Get in touch today.

Need to know more?

We’ll help you figure out your next steps.

Call us now at 888-746-1814, or

email info@steppingstonecenter.com.

All communication is 100% confidential.

This program may be right for you if:

• You are new to addiction recovery

and need help getting sober.

• You believe you need medical detox,

physical and psychological evaluations,

and therapy.

• You are only willing or able to commit

to a shorter-term program.

Relapse Recovery Program

This program may be right for you if:

• You were in recovery but relapsed, and now

need help finding your way back to sobriety.

• You believe you need physical and

psychological evaluations along with

therapy to help you reset back to health.

• You are only willing or able to commit

to a shorter-term program.

Then what?

Rest assured, when you graduate from your

program, you’ll be armed with the tools and

support you need to face the future with

renewed confidence.

Chances are, if you’re reading this pamphlet, you’re

struggling. At times like this, it may be hard to see

the way forward.

We can help. Here are four simple steps to consider.

Step 1: Contact us.

Tell us what’s happening with you. Don’t worry,

we don’t judge. We’ll help you figure out your

next move. That may mean coming here to start

your rehab.

Step 2: Check in at Stepping Stone.

Need to know what to bring or how to find us?

We can help with that. Not sure if you’re covered

by insurance? We can help with that, too, along

with all the other logistics you may be worried

about. The point is, once you’re here, we can

help you, you’ll be safe, and you can focus on

getting better.

Step 3: Take advantage of us.

That means to listen to your doctors and therapists

(and fellow patients!), attend sessions, ask questions,

and keep an open mind. Most important, be honest.

It’s the only path to full recovery. This step #3—

your stay with us—is all about getting your health,

strength, and clarity back.

Step 4: Leave with a plan.

Aftercare is not an afterthought at Stepping Stone.

You will leave here knowing exactly what you need

to do to stay in recovery. Your dedicated aftercare

coordinator—who you will have met with several

times during your stay—will let you know about

meetings to attend, community resources to take

advantage of, doctor visits to keep, medicationassisted

therapy (MAT) you may need, and more.

We’ll also introduce you to our active and supportive

alumni community of former patients.

Your aftercare plan = Ultimate peace of mind

“ This place saved my life. The staff

was amazing and the program was

set up really well. I liked the group

therapy and the logical process

of moving through treatment.

My therapist helped me so much.”
