• Promote a free market economy through assisting of<br />
private businesses and organizations<br />
Founded in 1923, the Winnetka Chamber of Commerce joined<br />
with the Northfield Chamber of Commerce in 2011 to provide<br />
a more robust community of businesses that fulfill the needs<br />
of our two villages. Now known as the Winnetka-Northfield<br />
Chamber of Commerce (WNCC) purpose as an active<br />
association of businesses, services, government agencies,<br />
schools and organizations operate on an annual membership<br />
basis offering a variety of benefits to serve the collective such<br />
as events, networking, programs, advertising, publicity, social<br />
media, socializing and community relations.<br />
The WNCC works to achieve its goals through the<br />
following events:<br />
• Recognition Lunch<br />
• The Winnetka Farmers’ Market (June through October)<br />
• Winnetka Music Festival (June)<br />
• Sidewalk Sale (July)<br />
• Golf Outing<br />
• Holiday Market and Tree Lighting (December)<br />
• We also provide the following services;<br />
• Publicity<br />
• Marketing and advertising benefits<br />
• Website exposure<br />
• Weekly e-newsletters<br />
• Monthly educational and social networking<br />
opportunities<br />

The leadership of the WNCC is comprised of a Board of<br />
Directors, a Legal Advisor, a Village Council Liaison, staff<br />
members representing both Villages and an Executive<br />
Director. Members of the WNCC are not restricted to having a<br />
Winnetka or Northfield business location. Annual membership<br />
dues support cooperative marketing opportunities provided<br />
by the Chamber to enhance our mission, “Supporting and<br />
encouraging the development and success of local businesses<br />
for the benefit of our vibrant communities.”<br />
By joining together to coordinate efforts of its Chamber<br />
members, the Village and the community it serves, the WNCC<br />
continues to work to improve and fulfill its mission.<br />
