These acarus parasites from Asia stick
themselves into bees and this causes
malformations, compromissions of the
immune system and a decrease of proteins
and carbohydrates.
It also causes viruses like the Deformed Wing
Virus (DWV) and the acute paralisis virus
(ABPV)
The only two places in the world where
varroa destructor has never been found are
Polinesia and New Zeland.
