With the launch of several newproducts on the horizon, there wasa need to make sure that the brandcould stand up to the new range.We looked at the different territoriesthat Lister sold their products –from the UK to down under – anddove into publications, profiles andphotoshoots to understand thelifestyle of a shearer.What immediately becameapparent to us is that a shearer’sworld is all encompassing. It’snot just an occupation – shearingis a way of life. This became ourstrapline and quickly became theLister ethos.25
