ANNUAL DUES AND LATE FEES
We want to thank those who have already paid the annual assessment
dues and for those who have not, a late fee and interest will be added to
your outstanding balance every month the balance is not paid off. Dropping
off your payment at the PMG office does not expedite the posting of the
payment. PMG office can only take your check and mail it for you - late fees
+ interest still apply. If you would like to arrange for a payment plan, please
contact our management company rep Maggie McKay at 713-329-7146
immediately. If you have already signed up in TownSq, you can log in to the
app and check your balance. I encourage everyone check their balance just
in case there is an error, you can contact our manager and resolve the error as
soon as you know of it.
MONTHLY MEETING
We have moved our monthly meetings to 2 nd Tuesday instead of on

(BCS3) GARAGE SALES
At present, there are no plans to have a neighborhood wide garage sale for
BCS3 this year. But the Bylaws allow for individual residents to have up to four
garage sales per year. If you are interested in having your own garage sale,
please contact any Board member to let them know you are planning to do
this. Thank you for your cooperation as to this issue.

(CHC) NOTES FROM THE BOARD
Happy Saint Patty’s Day & Spring Break! A Word from the Board: There is no
increase in HOA dues for 2020!
Thefts: Did you see something? Thefts, thieves and mischief! Really,
ridiculous! In January: The Christmas Wreaths were stolen from the front of
the subdivision! In December: Stolen Christmas Display! The snow man, rain
deer and sled were all stolen. Lights: The lights in the park have also been
stolen. Thefts hurt all of us and take money from our pockets.
Yard of the Month: Congratulations to 5727 Charlestown Colony Drive. We
have continued to do, “Yard of the Month.” However, delivering the gift cards
has been time consuming and a real challenge. If you won yard of the month
and have not received your gift card, please contact Heather Palomo at 832-
418-9020 to claim it. We haven’t heard from anyone.

From Our Board: It is dangerous for our children to play in the park with cars
parked in front of it. Trailers are a deed restriction violation.

is using a new application which is much more robust than the previous
online website. To register for the application, the HOA account number and
an email address is needed. Within the application, HOA dues can be paid,
messages can be sent to the management company, other requests for home
improvement projects etc. can also be done by click or swipe.

ANNUAL DUES PAYMENT:
Thank you to all who have paid your HOA dues! Since the Board has not
increased the HOA dues for 2020, there should be no excuse for paying
delinquent! February 1 st , unpaid annual dues are considered delinquent and
subject to late fees and penalties. Our management company has new policies
and procedures in place to collect on past due HOA assessments. If these
have not been paid yet, please make every effort to pay or make a payment
arrangement. The Board worked diligently to maintain our HOA dues at

Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at the MUD
#102 Building which is located at 15300 Falmouth Ave. under the Colonies
Water Tower. Watch for our meeting notice signs posted throughout our
neighborhood. We encourage you to attend. The meeting begins at 7 PM.
The entrance to the MUD 102 building is about a half block north of the
intersection of Falmouth and Kentwick. Look for the water tower north of
Falmouth and the driveway lined on one side by a black wrought iron fence.

Concord Colony residents are not to have more than two garage sales per year.

GEORGETOWN COLONY I
(GC1) WHIPWORMS IN SUBDIVISION
GC1 has been affected with whipworms due to the inconsiderate pet owners
that do not clean up after their dogs. The treatment is very expensive. All
pet owners that walk their dogs SHOULD BE MADE aware of this issue and
clean up after their own pets. The eggs hatch and burrow into the grass and
ground. It’s a nightmare to get rid of. Humans can get this from the grass also.

(GC1) GC1 HOA ASSESSMENT FEES
Thank you to everyone who is current on their assessment fee. HOA fees
were due by February 1 st . After this date, incurring penalties will start. GEO1
is aggressively pursuing collection from delinquent homeowners. The
Board of Directors has effectively managed to keep our HOA assessment
fees consistent without an increase while providing improvements to our
community with your continued support and on-time payment of the annual
HOA assessment fees. Payments can be made by visiting www.scsmgmt.com
and go to Pay Assessment Online and pay by eCheck or by credit card (Visa,
Master Cards, Discover, Amex). Homeowners who wish to setup installment
payments or discuss their delinquent accounts can contact Rita Haban at SCS

(GC1) HOME IMPROVEMENTS
Springtime Spruce-ups? Please submit an Architectural Review and Approval
Form for those home improvement projects impacting the appearance of
your home as seen from street view. Examples include new roof, exterior
paint, fence, outdoor home additions, landscaping, etc. All forms will be
reviewed by the HOA Board of Directors to ensure the improvements comply
with GEO1 bylaws and deed restrictions at the monthly meeting.
(GC1) SPRINGTIME YARD TREATMENT
Early February is time to treat your yard to a pre-emergence herbicide (Ace
Hardware sells the NitroPhos Barricade Pre-emergence Herbicide) to eliminate
those sticker burs, cloverleaf, thistle, etc... from appearing in Springtime.
(GC1) GEORGETOWN I BOARD MEETINGS
GC1 Board meetings will resume every 3 rd Thursday of the month. Next
meeting is March 19 th at the MUD Bldg. at 15300 Falmouth Dr. from 6:30 PM
to 8 PM by the water tower. All GC1 homeowners are welcome to attend.

Please plan to attend or submit your proxy to SCS Management or a local
Board member so that the 25% quorum will be met to hold the annual
homeowners meeting in March to meet & greet your HOA Board of Directors
and fellow neighbors and to learn more about where your HOA assessment
fees are being applied. The annual meeting will be held at Manuel’s Mexican
restaurant on FM 529 from 7 PM to 8 PM. Keep a lookout in your mailbox for a

The Monthly HOA Board meeting is always the 3 rd Tuesday of the month at 7

tower.” Multiple improvement projects were completed the last few months

CY-FAIR HIGH SCHOOL BAND &
COLORGUARD SPRING CRAFT SHOW
Enjoy one or both days of family fun, food, entertainment, and shopping
at the Third Annual Spring Craft Show, sponsored by the Cy-Fair High
School Band Boosters. Saturday, March 28 th (9 AM-5 PM) and Sunday,
March 29 th (11 AM-4 PM) at CFISD Exhibit Center. One of a kind offerings
from a wide range of unique craft and specialty vendors. Music and
entertainment throughout both days provided by area schools and
groups. Come hungry, as there will be concessions and food vendors. A
Silent Auction features theme baskets, collectibles and gift cards from
generous local merchants and restaurants. A cakewalk, bunny photos and
face painters are available for the kids! The event concludes on Sunday
with a raffle featuring a Grand Prize of four (4!) Houston Texans 2020
season tickets. Covered exhibit space means it’s on, rain or shine! Plentiful
free parking at the CFISD Exhibit Center (FFA) on Telge, two blocks north
of SH-290, across the street from Arnold Middle School. Proceeds benefit

WALKS/RUNS
ANNUAL SUPERINTENDENT’S FUN RUN
AND FESTIVAL SET FOR MARCH 21 ST
Filled with exciting live performances, two course layouts for running
or walking, children’s activities and other family-friendly entertainment,
the seventh annual CFISD Superintendent’s Fun Run and Festival is
scheduled for March 21 st from 8 to 11 AM at the Berry Center (8877 Barker
Cypress Road) and Towne Lake community. Underwritten by Memorial
Hermann Cypress Hospital, the community event will again include a
5K run through Towne Lake and Lone Star College-CyFair and a 1-mile
family-friendly walk/run through Cy-Fair FCU Stadium. The fun run will
also include vendor booths, food trucks, live entertainment and activities
for children. Proceeds from the Superintendent’s Fun Run and Festival
benefit the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF), which awards student
scholarships and staff development grants. The festival is open to the
public and free of charge throughout the duration. Patrons can browse
vendor booths and food trucks while also enjoying live performances
by student groups as well as a play zone. For information regarding

SHIELD BEARER RUNNING FOR HEARTS
5K FAMILY FUN RUN AND WALK, APRIL 18, 2020
The Shield Bearer Running for Hearts 5K Family Fun Run and Walk will take
place on April 18, 2020, from 7 AM to 11 AM, at Windwood Church at 10555
Spring Cypress Road in Houston, Texas. This family friendly event will
feature a 5K trail style run, a 1-mile family walk, games for the kids, t-shirts,
food, prizes and lots of fun for all ages. Race registration is $25 for adults
(ages 14 and up) and $10 for children (ages 13 and under). Registration,
sponsorship, vendor, fundraising and volunteer information is available
at shieldbearer.org/5K. Register early for special swag! Proceeds for the
event will fund services and programs at Shield Bearer, a Houston based
501c3 nonprofit counseling and community resource center that provides
services on a sliding scale. Shield Bearer has eight locations in Houston and
serves individuals, couples and families including those recovering from
the trauma of human trafficking, domestic violence, crime, abuse, war and

The Cy-Woods Athletic Booster Club will be hosting its 14th Annual
CWABC Golf Classic on April 18, 2020 at Cypress Lakes Golf Club. We invite
everyone in the Cypress and surrounding communities to join us. This is
the largest fundraiser of the year for the Cy-Woods Athletic Booster Club
and ALL proceeds are used to support the student-athletes at Cy-Woods

CAMP CORNERSTONE IS THE PLACE TO BE THIS SUMMER
FOR AGES 2 THROUGH COMPLETION OF 4 TH GRADE!
Camp Cornerstone is a week-long camp sponsored by Cornerstone United
Methodist Church and is for children ages 2 through the completion of 4th
grade. Children must be 2 by June 1, 2020. Camp hours are 9:30 AM-1 PM. There
are 3 sessions throughout the summer and you are invited to participate in
any or all! Registration opens up March 23 rd . Session I - “Safari” is June 15-19,
2020; Session II - “Christmas in July” is July 13-17, 2020; Session III - “Summer
Olympics” is August 3-7, 2020. The cost per camp per child is $125 and is
due at the time of registration. To download a form from the Cornerstone
website, go to www.cornerstoneumc.org and click on “Ministries” and then
select “Preschool.” You will see a tab for Camp Cornerstone. Print the form
and have it filled out before you arrive, saving yourself time! Before each
camp session begins, you will hear from your child’s teacher so you can learn
more about the camp and they will answer questions about the week-long
fun. Each day your child will bring a backpack and a lunch as they enjoy each
other and the special things they will do during the week. We look forward

worship. Camp Hope is a day camp that is passionate about growing leaders.
