Fundamentals of astrodynamics and applications 4th Edition (2013)

Fundamentals of Astrodynamics and Applications has been a part of the Space Technology Library for over a decade now. I’m sure it will continue to be the standard reference in the field and to serve as an excellent introduction and fundamental resource for anyone working in astrodynamics.

I’d like to mention John Seago and Mike Gabor in particular as they helped refine

several technical sections with many detailed comments and suggestions. Their insight,

in-depth knowledge, and attention to detail were invaluable in making the later editions

a reality.

This fourth edition used FrameMaker Ver 10.0. While some difficulties exist with its

ability to handle extended metafiles, I was able to work around most of them. Finally,

and certainly not least, Jim Wertz helped get this edition published. His counsel has

been important throughout this effort, and I am always very grateful for his assistance!
