Brief Directions:
I just want to take a moment to give you a few instructions on
using this journal. If you need more detailed instructions,
please purchase my book, How to Journal Your Prayers,
which is available on my website and on Amazon.
The first step in journaling your prayers is to write down your
prayer request in the Request Section. You can write down
as little or as much as you’d like – some requests are large,
and some requests are not but writing it down is the key.
In the section called Key Scriptures, search the Word of God
to find scriptures that correlate with your prayer request. For
example, if you are praying for protection for you and your
family, Psalm 91 is a great scripture to pray over your family.
If you are praying for peace, Isaiah 26:3 is a great verse. Now,
if you’ve never prayed the scripture for yourself or your
family, feel free to use my example below from Isaiah 26:3 as
your template:
Lord, I thank you! Thank you, Father God, that you will keep Liela
in perfect peace because Liela’s mind is stayed on you God, because
Liela trusts in you Father. Lord, I bless and honor you. In Jesus
name, Amen.
That’s shorter than my typical prayers, but I think you get the
idea.
In the section entitled Revelation, you will want to take note
of what you hear from God about your request. Make no
mistake, God is always speaking; He not only hears but He
also speaks, we must take the time to hear Him. When you
