He may just let you know He’s listening by telling you
something you really needed to hear. It’s so important to
write down what God tells you because God is not obligated
to repeat Himself and while He may if you ask, it is always
best to honor Him and His Presence in your prayer time by
writing down what He says – trust me you will want to look
back at what He tells you later.
In the section entitled Answers, remember to write down your
answers. While the whole process of journaling your prayers
is important, the answers give you confidence that God hears
and answers your prayers. The answers also provide a
testimony you can share with others and this testimony can
help build the faith of someone else who may need the exact
thing God did for you. I’ve included blank lined pages in the
back of the book in case you need more room to write. Don’t
forget the date. It is important to chronicle how and when
God moves so you don’t forget.
One more thing, as I was writing this a scene came to mind

Prince of Bel-Air. The episode is called “Love Hurts” and in
the episode, Will is out on a date with his girlfriend Lisa at a
bowling alley. While Will is taking his turn bowling, a man
approaches Lisa with the intent of asking her out. Will, of
course, says something to him and a fight ensues. Well, the
guy punches Will and knocks him to the ground. Afterward,
Lisa hits the guy and knocks him out. When Will gets up, he
says to Lisa, “what was that?” She explained that she took
self-defense classes. The lines I want to point out to you are
these:
