HEAL YOUR MIND, BODY AND SOUL
WITH FARAH MANJOO
A doting wife and mother, Farah Manjoo is also
a pragmatic business woman who embodies sensitivity
to inspire positive change in the lives of
others with complete lack of
judgement.
“I grew up poor. My father
abandoned me when I was
just six years old and
living with my extended
maternal family was
bittersweet.
Today I feel as free as a
butterfly, living my best life”
THE JOURNEY THAT BROUGHT LIFE CHANGING LESSONS
Farah grew up in Pietermaritzburg with her
maternal family. Throughout her childhood she
was forced to be self-reliant which taught her
independence and built self control, although
it didn’t seem that way back then. The hardship
of not fitting in was always a cloud above her
head but these mishaps came with a silverlining.
“Education has always been my priority’
Despite the curve balls life threw at her, Farah
put herself through school by selling odds and
ends to make money eventually matriculating
with 5 distinctions! Farah worked really hard
to pay off her tertiary studies. She persevered
towards achieving her B.Ed Degree and Honours
in Psychology while fulfilling her responsibilities
to the family she has now created. Her
fierce spirit, with roots centred firmly in her
now family, is known to conquer anything she
faces. Her first goal was to find the basic direction
she never received in religion at home.
Farah gained insight on the Islamic faith which
still gives her a sense of peace and calm today.
A BOLD DECISION WHICH SET ME FREE
“I was locked in a loveless marriage before I knew what real love should be like”
Farah first married at the tender age of 18 and had her daughter Masiha, at 22. Two years after
the birth of her child, she walked out of her loveless marriage with not much to fall back on
but has no regrets. She picked up her pieces bit by bit, focusing on Masiha and found herself
experiencing freedom at an escalated level.
