Nuria Mathog, Editor
In compliance with
safe, Frankfort Mayor Jim
Holland announced during
And, like you, we’re happy to call it
home. And we’re proud to be here
celebrating 22 years of service. Thank
you for your business and your trust.
Village is also asking residents
Round it up
A brief recap of items discussed at the Frankfort
Village Board of Trustees March 16 meeting
• The board approved an intergovernmental
reciprocal reporting agreement with Lincoln-Way
Community High School District 210.
• Trustees approved the final plat for the Savarino
approval of the Five Oaks Homeowners Association.
VID-19,” Holland said.
“Places where people
gather and might inadvertently
spread the virus
are either closing or taking
steps to provide social
separation and disinfecting,
as the medical experts
are recommending.”
Village events for the
next eight weeks, including
the Earth Day Celebration
and the spring
Frankfort Country Market,
have been canceled,
and the Plan Commission
meetings scheduled for
March 26 and April 9 have
also been canceled. While
Village Board meetings
are still slated to proceed
as scheduled, seating has
been rearranged to follow
social distancing guidelines,
Holland said.
“All of us are being impacted
by COVID-19,”
Holland said. “Some will
be impacted more than others.
I know that Frankfort
residents will think about
ways to help their families,
their friends and their
neighbors with this issue.”
