NEWS FROM THE BOARD
COMMUNITY INFORMATION
The Falcon Point East (“FPE”) subdivision consists of the 613 lots located in the Arbor, the Grove, the
Landing and the Meadows. Owners of these lots are members of the FPE Homeowners Association,
Inc. (the “Association”). The Association is managed by Community Solutions Unlimited LLC (“CSU”).
Policies are set by a five member Board of Directors (the “Board”). The Board is elected by the members
of the Association at the Annual Meeting held in November of each year. • 2019 Assessments: 98.31%
collected. If you have not paid your annual dues, please reach out to Rachel Schmutz and set up a
payment agreement.
4
FALCON POINT EAST MEETING
Date: 4 th Thursday of each Month
Time: 6 PM
Location: Community Pool - Storage Room
RSVP: rschmutz@csutx.com
COMMON QUESTIONS ANSWERED
1. I heard that Community Solutions sent out an email notification (e-blast) to residents of Falcon
Point East. Since I did not receive a copy of the email, how do I get on the distribution list? On
the bottom of your 2020 Maintenance Fees notice there is a box with the option to receive email
notifications from Community Solutions relative to items of interest to Falcon Point East, which reads
as follows: “If you would like to receive email notifications with information pertaining to Falcon Point
East, please send an email with your property address to service@csutx.com and list Falcon Point East
in the subject line if you have not already sent in your owner information form.” If you did not receive
an email regarding the open Board position, you are not registered on the distribution list.
2. What if I need more time to pay my annual dues? Call Rachel Schmutz and set up a payment plan.
Will I receive an annoying demand letter after I set up a payment plan? Demand letters are sent out
if you are not on a current payment plan and your account is delinquent.
COMPLIANCE: Some of the most common mistakes that homeowners/renters make are:
• Forgetting to cut and edge your grass on a regular basis: Frequency of maintenance depends on the
weather, rate of growth, weeds, etc.; however, the maintenance must occur often enough to ensure
the lawn is maintained to the community wide standard.
• Forgetting to put up your trash can at the end of a trash collection day:
• Please put your trashcan and recycle bin away and out of public view. Leaving your can by the front
of the garage door or on the side of the home warrants a letter from Community Solutions.
• If you have a lack of storage space within your garage, an alternate solution might be to purchase an
enclosure / concealer for the side of your yard, which hides the trash can from view.
• Not putting in a Home Improvement application before you make a modification to the exterior of
your home.
CREATIVE WRITING & ILLUSTRATION
SUMMER CAMPS
The iWRITE Organization will host Creative Writing & Illustration Summer
Camps around the Houston area, allowing young writers to bring their
stories to life! iWRITE was founded ten years ago by children’s author,
Melissa Williams Murphy, in order to give students the opportunity to
build their writing skills and boost their creative confidence through all
kinds of writing programs and publishing opportunities. This summer
young writers can learn straight from the pros!
The iWRITE summer camps and workshops will be held in June and July
in the Cypress, Spring Branch and Ft. Bend areas with opportunities for
kids ages 8 to 16 years old. Students will learn character development
skills that can be used in all types of writing, how authors brainstorm and
turn ideas into a story, how illustrators bring characters to life through
art, fun editing techniques and even how to get your work published.
Visit iWRITE.org to learn more, meet the instructors and register. If you
would like to apply for a scholarship or sponsor a child, please contact
headlining the 18 th annual Warbird Weekend April 18 th -19 th at the West
Houston Airport in Houston, TX. The B-17 Texas Raiders, along with the
It is a can’t-miss experience for anyone who enjoys nostalgia, historic
the Greatest Generation and educate all ages about the WWII experience
and the technology of aviation.
The admission fee is $20 per car at the gate. Proceeds from the event
help fund facility operations and the restoration and operation of the
Houston Wing aircraft. Join us on Facebook at CAF-Houston Wing or visit
