Coffee Mornings
Coffee mornings are held every second Wednesday
of the month in the village hall at Field Dalling, 10.30
a.m. to 12 noon. We serve fresh coffee, tea, homemade
cake and biscuits. It‟s a great chance to meet new
people or catch up with old friends. All refreshments are
free of charge, but donations are gratefully received.
Any money left over goes to the Cromer and District
Foodbank. Please note: coffee mornings are temporarily
cancelled due to the coronavirus. Mel&Brian Goodale

We now have 131 members of the Club and prize
money has increased from March, but as always we
would welcome more. If you have not already renewed,
or are new to the village why not join us for the last few
months until the final draw of this subscription year
which will take place on 25 th May.
The time to renew your memberships is fast
approaching. Thus if you have not already planned to
renew automatically eg by standing order, can we please
ask for the subscriptions for the next year, ie June 2020
to May 2021 inclusive, to be paid as soon as possible,
and before 27th June so as to be in the first draw - we
hope that all existing members will again want to re-join
and, of course, we welcome new members. It costs just
£1 per month (payable in advance for the year) to join
and you can get your subscriptions and more back if
you are lucky enough to win a prize. The 50:50 Club
contributes over £1000 per annum to the Friends funds -
full details are placed on the Friends Notice Board
before the AGM.

Payments can also include your Friends membership
of a minimum of £5 per annum (or part of a year).
BACS payments can be made as detailed below, but
please inform John Blakeley (e-mail:
jbconsult@btinternet.com) if you pay by BACS (date
and amount) so that records can be kept up to date and
you do not miss the chance to participate in a future
draw. The 50:50 Club raises funds painlessly and with
the chance to enjoy monthly coffee mornings and a
Christmas Party thrown in. The Friends membership
and any other donation, but not the 50:50 Club
subscriptions, can be Gift Aided and if you have not
already completed a form we would, be most grateful if
you could consider doing this – provided you are and
remain a taxpayer of course.

ST MARY’S CHURCH NEWS
No significant church news to report, but a reminder that
the PCC Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday,
April 30th at 4pm in The Institute. Everyone is welcome.

FRIENDS OF GUNTHORPE
PARISH CHURCH
The Friends Churchyard Clear-up will take place on
Sunday the 17 th of May from 9am. Work for all ages and
abilities will be available, and we will have sausages and
baps around noon to celebrate our accomplishments.
(Veggie option too!) Please do come to help in any way you
can. Bring your own tools or we will have tools available
for you. We have a good laugh and it is a great start to the
summer gardening maintenance of the churchyard. All are
welcome.
