CONNECTIONS TO LEARNING

Our students credit the Aim High classroom with changing their

attitudes about school and their views of what they can accomplish.

Hands-on, project-based academics and an engaging,

innovative and FUN curriculum are the heart of our program.

CONNECTIONS TO SELF

Communication, confidence, and empathy are the foundation to academic

success. This is why Aim High offers a daily class, Issues and Choices, that

cultivates these skills, while providing students a safe place to discuss difficult

topics, such as bullying, racism, sexism, peer pressure, culture and identity.

CONNECTING TO NEW

OPPORTUNITIES

Take the initiative. Become a leader. Explore the world outside our

walls. These are the messages Aim High seeks to impart by offering

off-campus learning opportunities for growth to our students and

to our teachers. We actively cultivate a culture of discovering new

potential and saying “yes.” Following morning classes, students

have the opportunity to explore undiscovered passions and uncover

hidden talents.

CONNECTIONS THAT BUILD

COMMUNITY

Community has always been foundational to Aim High. A sense of belonging

fosters heightened social-emotional skills, and children with strong SEL skills

are more likely to do well in school, be better prepared for the workforce,

improve their well-being and have the fundamentals for young adult success.
