BREAK OUT ZONE - SURA CLOVERLEAF
Alongside the Socio-Economic Cultural Mapping Exercise which seeks to identify the
make up of each component of the I.B.I.L.E., certain areas pop up, show themselves on
the figure ground and demand further investigation. The traffic clover leafs or 'loops' enroute
to and from 3rd Mainland Bridge are such spaces.
We are investigating the possibility of using these neglected and deprioritised spaces to
accommodate socio-cultural events to bring about cohesion and development in the
surrounding densely populated neighbourhoods of Adeniji Adele & Sura.
Our preliminary S-ECM studies shows a dearth of open space for recreational health and
informal learning. Healthy, knowledgeable citizens are what we seek to propose.
