Una Festa Futurismo
Inspired by the Italian Futurist artists, my table is based on their
ideas of capturing forward movement to interpret the “Future is
Now” theme. The color palette is inspired by Gino Severini’s
painting, “Dynamic Hieroglyphic of the Bal Tabarin” that is part of
MoMA’s permanent collection. All design elements from the floral
design to the fabrics and ceramics reflect this momentum of
progressive energy to honor the next 125 inspiring years of Lenox
Hill Neighborhood House. Floral Design: John Lupton and Andrew
Thomas; Fabric: Lindsay Cowles; Ceramics: Marie; Daage;
Embroidery: Stephen Wilson Studio; Linens: Julia Meija;
Glassware: Nina Campbell
