Helping to Grow Entrepreneurship at the
University of New Hampshire’s Entrepreneurship Center
ECenter Overview
Opened in 2016, the Entrepreneurship Center
(ECenter) is the co-curricular heart of ideas,
innovation, and entrepreneurship at UNH,
providing high impact experiential programs.
The ECenter is open to any student from any
college or major on campus.
In 2017, out of 25 nominees, the ECenter won
international recognition as the outstanding
new Entrepreneurship Center open for five
years or less.

Our vision is to create the next generation
of leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset
who can see opportunities and identify
creative solutions others have missed, one
idea at a time. Although part of UNH, we
are independent of any one college.
ECenter delivers unique, hands-on,
experiential programming that inspires,
nurtures, and mentors students from any
major, at every step in the process, from
idea development to company creation.
We operate as a start-up in an academic
environment, and programs are donor
funded. Led by a proven serial entrepreneur,
we are rapidly demonstrating significant
success throughout the UNH student
community.
Being co-curricular means we're able to
complement what all students are learning
in every classroom on campus. We focus on
high impact experiential programs.

“Half Acre was just an idea. We absolutely could not have gotten where we
are today without the help of the ECenter. In our first month of business we
had over $11,000 in sales.”
- Andrew DeMeo ‘18, College of Life Sciences and Agriculture
“No where else on campus will you find such an interesting mix of innovative
students from a variety of majors. It’s not about business, or engineering, or
computer science. It’s about recognizing challenges people face every day and
coming up with ways to make those things a little less challenging.”
- Devin McMahon ‘19, Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics
“The ECenter has been a great resource for me in my own business. It has
given me access to facilities and people here on campus to help me take my
venture to the next level.”
- TJ Evarts ‘20, College of Engineering and Physical Science
“The ECenter provided tremendous mentorship, guidance, and opportunities to
participate in competitions and events that I didn’t know existed.”
- Joel Nkounkou ‘18, College of Engineering and Physical Science

Benefits of
Corporate Sponsorship
We understand that sponsorship is not just about philanthropy for
companies. We work hard to provide added value to you through
branding, direct engagement opportunities, and, when possible,
encourage our passionate members to become your customers.
Bonus engagements:
• With students directly, through judging and mentoring
• Meet and greet with ECenter Advisory Task Force and Alumni
Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame inductees
• With ECenter alumni directly
• For recruitment opportunities
Corporate sponsors have many alternatives, but they support the
ECenter because they want to be aligned with passionate, tenacious,
hard working, and innovative students dedicated to making an
impact and growing ideas into companies.
We pride ourselves on outcomes. The students you support through
sponsorship will have a lifelong impact - for themselves and New
Hampshire - as a result of what they experience here.
