Adapting to change
Merrijig Public Hall committee held its monthly meeting via video conferencing last week with
10 members connecting using Zoom.
Hall secretary, Louise Jacob, said the process was seamless and worked really well with
everyone participating.
It was a short meeting, only 40 minutes, as the agenda was very light. All fund raising events
for the year had previously been cancelled at the March meeting, including the community
service usually held on ANZAC Day, which was very regretful but necessary in the current
circumstances.
