CASE STUDY ONE
ORGANISATION
Small technology company
INDUSTRY
Technology
SIZE
10 staff – predominantly
millennials
SUMMARY
We helped a small, growing,
technology company address
their workplace wellbeing
needs. As a responsible
employer they wanted to
ensure they improved their
overall awareness whilst
adhering to a strict training
budget.
BRIEF
Engage workforce in conversations about mental health and
the importance of these.
Improve overall knowledge of mental health conditions.
SOLUTIONS
We hosted one of their team on a 2 day Mental Health First Aider
course where the team member could return to the team and
cascade knowledge.
The organisation supported this by enrolling the team on the
e-learning Level 1 foundation course in the first half of their
budget year and they are utilising our support packs that include
great ideas for team communication to keep the training and
ideas live throughout the whole year.
They use the Mental Health First Aider to deliver quick fire
5 minute talks on a monthly basis and use a whiteboard to
promote a monthly wellbeing theme.
The Mental Health First Aiders are also part of a small taskforce
that monitors overall mental health in the organisation and can
provide ‘flags’ if there are any issues.
CASE STUDY TWO
ORGANISATION
Multi site business operation
INDUSTRY
Leisure and retail
SIZE
50 – some working remotely
SUMMARY
We worked with a complex
diverse arts, leisure and
retail business to deliver
training across their various
teams. The challenge was to
engage a range of different
employees, some on very
low hour contracts, some
volunteers and some who
were on placements.
BRIEF
Engage with whole team and deliver increased mental health
knowledge.
Deliver bitesize solutions for volunteers and remote workers.
SOLUTIONS
We delivered a whole team briefing in a couple of evening slots
to the whole staff with quickfire Q&A to help develop a base of
knowledge.
We mopped up with a recorded webinar session and a digital
Q&A for those unable to attend.
Four individuals joined our Mental Health First Aider courses so
they could lead on in-house programmes.
We delivered a short management seminar to provide guidance
to senior leaders on ensuring monthly meetings included a
section on good mental health behaviours.
