Blue Design Controller Installation,
Operation and Set Up
A. INSTALLATION
Install the controller outside the sauna room and prefenbly beside
the room's door where you can have easy access. Run the sensor
wire to the sauna room. The best location for sensor is 5,, above the
door and the sensor tip should be exposed l.5" into the room. plug
i,r tlc courcclor cable. 'l'he arow on the male and femate plugs
should face each other.
Not€: The controller is provided wirh a standard length of 12 ft
corulector cable and 13 ft sensor cable. Ifyou need to extend them
up to 50 ft, use RG3 or RG5 cables or 2 pais cable (22 to 18
AWC).
B. OPERATION

the djsplay oon be changed from Celsius to Fahrcnheit aDd vice
Noici By d€lault rhe temp€rarure is progratumed at 60 C (140 t),
and the lime is programmed at 60 rninutes. The controller will keep
the user programmed values until the power to dre conh.oller is lost.
After power is restored it goes back (o its orignlal defaults.
C. SET UP
L To tum the connoller ON or OFF: press and release the ON/OFF
2. To set ihe desired iirne: PNss an.i reiease umc a or nme v
button while lhe conrroller is ON. until rhe display shows you
dested !ime. After 5 seconds the display switch€s back to the
current temperature in lhe sauna room.

4. To switch the display reading between Celsjus and Fahenleit:
Tum offthe conAoller first, then pl€ss and lold temp. O
button for 5 seconds and the LED light should switch fron C to
F and vice versa.
