Ro<strong>of</strong>top Public Space<br />
Taman Atas Bumbung<br />
The ro<strong>of</strong>top level public space is going to<br />
have two key social functions and they are:<br />
(1) communal gardening and (2) social space<br />
+ viewing deck.<br />
Having democratised the access to such a<br />
prime space within a residential project<br />
further solidifies the concept <strong>of</strong> bringing<br />
people together through quality public<br />
spaces. Having an open plan also creates<br />
opportunities for emergence <strong>of</strong> placemaking<br />
activities.<br />
Upper-Level Public Space<br />
Taman Langit<br />
The upper-level public space happens at<br />
level 10. This space is dedicated to fulful<br />
the programmatic requirements <strong>of</strong> the masterplan<br />
at the given site.<br />
In this project’s case, the upper-level<br />
public space will be home to physiotherapy<br />
and exercise stations. These amenities will<br />
both serve the needs <strong>of</strong> the residents, as<br />
well as the other citizens <strong>of</strong> the city. As<br />
such, this is how the public realm is enhanced<br />
in the project.<br />

to for the 3 different variations <strong>of</strong><br />
the project carried out by the different<br />
members <strong>of</strong> the design team.<br />
The logic behind this propogation is to<br />
ensure green spaces and viewing decks are<br />
integrated to the public realm. In addition,<br />
these public spaces also serve as an<br />
intermediary space for placemaking between<br />
the two unit types and as such, the two demographic.<br />
