The Blue Basin A complete system for waterproofing the floor slab, basement wall and plinth area, which interrupts the capillary water transport and thereby prevents moisture from penetrating the floor slab. Geficon® safeguards against chemical attack in reinforced concrete buildings and prevents corrosion thanks to a full-surface bond with the concrete. Areas of Use Waterproofing against soil moisture and non-accumulating seepage water on ground-contacting floor panels and exterior wall surfaces according to water impact class W-1E DIN 18533. Description Special features of the Geficon® Waterproofing System are its high watertightness, excellent resistance to impact loads, special elasticity and high tensile bond strength when wet and dry. The Geficon® Waterproofing System has good vapour-barrier properties, is thermally stable and resistant to aging. It contains no plasticisers or other additives that could be harmful to health. The products can be safely used in living rooms and public buildings such as kindergartens, schools and hospitals. Our installation guideline provides exact details on how the Geficon® Waterproofing System is properly applied and used. All components of the system are compatible with each other to ensure clean and proper execution of all joints. Certifications & Standards Use of the Geficon® Waterproofing System is governed by a German general test certificate (AbP, Allgemeines bauaufsichtliches Prüfzeugnis), No. P-1200/321/15 MPA-BS, for use as building waterproofing pursuant to EN 13967. The waterproofing products carry CE marking.
