Geficon® Floor Membrane Benefits • Rational, clean and reliable working with a complete system • Strong adhesive bond with the concrete • No wall barriers required • No waterproofing required on top of the floor slab • sd value ≥150m The Geficon® Floor Membrane is a modern quality product Made in Germany and developed by Gefinex GmbH. It comprises an EN 13967 compliant, flexible polyethylene waterproof membrane lined with nonwoven fabric on both sides, to be laid beneath the floor slab prior to concreting, in order to protect the building from rising damp. The waterproof membrane is laid upon the blinding layer before pouring the concrete slab. To secure it in place, the membrane is equipped with adhesive tape, so that overlapping joints can be stuck quickly and securely together. As the concrete hardens, the membrane makes a permanent bond with the concrete. Areas of Use <strong>Waterproofing</strong> against soil moisture according to water impact class W-1E DIN 18533. Properties Resistant to mechanical damage and completely watertight. Longitudinally integrated adhesive tape makes it easy to connect membrane sheets together. Certifications & Standards Geficon® products are governed by a German general test certificate (AbP, Allgemeines bauaufsichtliches Prüfzeugnis), No. P-1200/321/15 MPA-BS, for use as building waterproofing pursuant to EN 13967. Certifications & Standards The Geficon® Wall Membrane is governed by a German general test certificate (AbP, Allgemeines bauaufsichtliches Prüfzeugnis), No. P-1200/321/15 MPA-BS. It is classified in accordance with DIN 4102 in the building material class B2. Areas of Use <strong>Waterproofing</strong> against soil moisture and non-accumulating seepage water on ground-contacting floor panels and exterior wall surfaces according to water impact class W-1E DIN 18533.
