How could we forget Cocktails?

Here are our top 3 recipes, with and without alcohol, to keep you cool for the summer

Whiskey Soda

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 lime cut into segments

1 shot of whiskey

1 handful of mint

1 tsp sugar + splash of water

Ice cubes

Soda water

1. Add the lime, mint leaves, sugar

and water to the cocktail shaker.

2. With the muddler, press the

lime and mint until all the juice

has been extracted. Then take out

the lime skins.

3. Add the whiskey & ice and

shake!

4. Pour into a nice chilled glass,

straining the liquid through the

shaker. Top up with soda water

and serve with a sprig of mint.

Appletini (No-Alcohol)

Serves 2

Ingredients

6-8 apples juiced or ready-made

juice

1 thumb of fresh ginger

juice of 1/2 lime

Ice cubes

Mint

Soda water

1. Wash and core the apples, peel

the ginger, the lime and wash the

mint leaves and get ready for

juicing.

2. Juice all the ingredients that you

just prepped making sure you stuff

the ginger and mint in the apples

to help them juice.

2. Pass your juice through a sieve so

you have a nice clear, crisp

consistency.

3. Add a slice of lime, ice and top

up with soda water!

Amaretto Sourz

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 orange cut into segments

1 shot of amaretto

1 handful of basil

1 tsp sugar + splash of water

1 egg white

Ice cubes

Soda water

1. Add the orange, basil leaves,

sugar and water to the cocktail

shaker.

2. With the muddler, press the

oranges and basil until all the juice

has been extracted. Then take out

the orange skins.

3. Add the egg white & ice and

shake!

4. Pour into a nice chilled glass,

straining the liquid through the

shaker. Top up with soda water

and a slice of frozen orange.
